BOLD New Airline...

Welcome to the latest edition of On The Line…   It’s been a busy week as ever, with lots of creativity around my business interests, with a brand refresh for Jeremy Spake Productions, as a prelude to expanding what we do beyond my own media output.  As with all business ventures there’s an element of risk in our bold endeavours, but as they say, he (she, they etc.) who dares wins!  As someone who openly talks about my battle with depression, creative days help to remind me that life is short, and we should expel our energies on things we enjoy and that recognise our worth.  This is easier said than done I know, but if you are lucky enough to be doing something you love that sustains you, hold on to it and never fall victim to the Green Eyed Monster! I don’t know about you, but I have found it almost impossible to avoid seeing outpourings about Phillip Schofield and his fall from grace at ITV.  Besides the nature of the allegations and the possible abuse of posi...

Thankfully the weather has started to improve, and the Sun has managed to put  in a few appearances to lift my mood.  The Team here at HQ are especially pleased as the sun means they can get me out of the office to do some filming for my new Podcast – BOARDING NOW.  We are going to be including some great places to visit in the UK in the monthly programme, so with sun cometh the opportunity to showcase destinations that otherwise might look less appealing.  I don’t know about you, but places generally always look nicer with the sun bathing them, or at night  when street lighting illuminates and glistens offering an alternative view of a particular place, this is especially true from the windows of an aeroplane as you glance down at the night time vista.   Hopefully you’ve had an opportunity to watch or listen to the first episode of  BOARDING NOW and have enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you.  In case you missed it t...

Kind Hearts & Coronets!

Firstly, apologies that we missed a couple of editions over the past two weeks, events thwarted my best endeavours.  Let me explain, after an evening with the wonderful women of Bedfordshire at their Women’s Institute AGM, I found myself navigating cross country down narrow lanes and semi-prepared tracks thanks to roadworks every which way I turned.  At 23:45, or thereabouts, a muntjac deer decided to spring out of the hedgerow and play chicken with the car.  Sadly, I was unable to stop in time and both the poor deer and my car didn’t make it through the experience.  What was shocking is just how much damage can be caused at 35 mph, a salient reminder to always drive with due care and attention.  After my unfortunate accident I then discovered that I had contracted the dreaded Wuhan (yes COVID again), which meant isolating and doing my best not to feel sorry for myself (thankfully it was a mild case).  So, I decided to have a couple of weeks proper...

Down with the Wuhan but not out!
