Thanks for all the feedback about the Blog, Podcast, and website, great to know that you’re enjoying the content and that I’m bringing a bit of light relief to your busy lives.   Let’s face it we could all do with a bit of a laugh to take the edge of the rigours of everyday life! We know that some of you have told us that you rarely have time to read my outpourings and that you would prefer to listen via Spotify and the like, which is why we are going to be making some chan ges to our lineup.  Firstly, I’m thrilled that we are launching a NEW show on Spotify with the very original title of  ‘ On  air  with   J ezza’   (I know it’s cheesy but you can’t beat a bit of quattro-fromaggi so I’m told!).  The bi-weekly show will include my view of the world news as well as some great sounds and my general ramblings.  My ‘ On The Line… ’ blog will now be produced once a month, capturing the highlights of both ‘ BOARDING NOW’ (my monthly Vl...

Another week has zoomed by, they seem to be coming thick and fast at the moment, I guess when we are busy, we don’t really have time to think about the speed at which our lives a moving.   It’s been another hectic week here at Jezza HQ, with the final editing of July’s Podcast, filming for August’s and preparation for September’s edition.   We are also working on a new weekly project for Spotify, which I’ll tell you more about once we have the format sorted and we are happy with the content, but it will be dominated by great sounds and compliment the Monthly podcast, so hopefully you’ll be able to tune in every week to listen to what in effect will be a weekly radio show.   More news about this in the coming weeks. This week’s news has been dominated by the alleged revelations about Huw Edwards, and I must say that the media frenzy that ensued is a sad indictment on what has happened to our society where we seem to feverishly lust after scandal and intrigue vil...

Well Wimbledon is definitely underway how do I know?  The sun disappeared at the beginning of the week and the rain returned!  It seems to be the norm when Wimbledon hosts the world’s premier lawn tennis event.  Sadly, I’ve not had a moment spare to see any of the matches, or enjoy a nice bowl of strawberries and cream as it has been flat out in the office this week.  I did however catch the news item of the pensioner protesting about Just Stop Oil, he used a jigsaw purchased at Wimbledon mixed with orange strips to litter the court causing disruption.  He probably had little impact in respect of stopping oil, but his antics certainly caused event organisers to withdraw the sale of jigsaws!  Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes on Wednesday, really appreciated.  The day was spent at the Imperial War Museum doing a bit of filming at the same time as enjoying the amazing array of aircraft the museum has.  If you’ve not been, I ca...

The Team tells me that they have received requests for my Podcast – BOARDING NOW to be added to the Vimeo platform.  Well, as I always say it’s important to listen and when possible, act upon requests.  So, I am pleased to say we have spared no expense and have now added Vimeo to the available options to either watch or listen to my monthly outpourings.  Don’t forget you can request dedications for me to include in the show, so be sure to hop onto my website to send yours through to us.   The world looked like it was going to get one step closer to WW3 at weekend when news of the Wagner Group’s alleged coup in Russia broke.   I was inundated with frantic messages from friends who feared the worst was about to be unleashed upon us all.   My advice at the time was to wait and watch remaining calm, as sometimes things are not quite what they seem.    Call me an old cynic, but the apparent rapid de-escalation of events thanks to the interv...

Apologies that we missed last week’s blog. The Team and I were busy finalising the second episode of my monthly Podcast – BOARDING NOW, which is available to watch on YouTube (JezzaTV), and to listen to on Spotify.  We are already working on July’s edition, which will feature the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan, as well as a Staycation in Norfolk, great sounds, and the usual news items through my eyes.  If you would like me to dedicate a tune to a loved one or friend, drop me a line via jeremyspake.com and I will do my best to include it in the show. My new novel – TROIKA, is taking shape and will soon be entering the final edit stage, so we are on track for this to be published later this year.  I’ll keep you updated with all the relevant information as it happens. The tragic  story of the Titan submersible has dominated the news this week as the world has watched on at the rescue efforts to try and save the lives of those trapped onboard the tiny craft.  I s...

2023 has almost reached the halfway mark, and I have to say I don’t know where the times goes, it feels like just yesterday that I was making new year’s resolutions.  It may just be me but as I get older time seems to be sprinting along like Usain Bolt, when I would much prefer it to be akin to Bagpuss pace, lots of naps in between a stroll like effort. I find myself getting more like Victor Meldrew by the day (not good). But as they say time waits for no man, so I’ve been busy again this week with the team looking after my media output, developing some new programme ideas so as these come to fruition, I’ll keep you posted. Prince Harry is back in the UK giving evidence at the High Court against the Mirror Group Newspapers and their alleged phone tapping activities whilst he was a teenager.   Regardless of what anybody thinks about the Duke’s choices of late (I have no opinion by the way), the claims he makes against MGN make for a sorry tale and I find it hard not...
